Midas was born out of a genuine enjoyment for cleaning and a dedication to making homes feel cared for and refreshed.
As a young teenager my peers were off at parties while I found joy in staying home with a good CD, cleaning supplies, and the satisfaction of transforming my bedroom. Rearranging furniture, removing dust, and polishing every detail wasn’t a chore to me—it was my happy place, and I never felt like I missed out.
After years of working in Dental Nursing, Workers' Compensation and dedicating eight wonderful years to raising my three amazing children, it was time to re-enter the workforce.
Cleaning was a natural choice—it fit perfectly with my schedule, and I’d always known I had a knack for it. Joining a professional cleaning team allowed me to help busy families and households, and I loved the difference I could make in their lives.
A move from Newcastle to Maitland eventually led me to pause my cleaning journey.
I was working in another role which allowed me to see first hand domestic cleaners and their service. It was then I noticed a common issue: many cleaners weren’t delivering the thorough, caring service clients deserved. That realisation sparked my decision to start Midas Cleaning Services.
At Midas, we treat every home as if it were our own. We focus on meticulous attention to detail, the satisfaction of uncovering hidden dust, and the joy of presenting a clean, welcoming space to our clients. Above all, we treat our clients and their homes with respect and care, ensuring the quality and reliability they deserve.
We love spending time with loved pets during our visits and feel privileged to share in the moments of joy and celebration, as well as the challenges and sorrows that life brings. Because we care deeply about our clients, we’re here to support not just their homes but the lives lived within them.

In 2025, I am excited to expand my expertise by undertaking a variety of specialised courses to better support our clients in their homes. At Midas Cleaning Services, our mission has always been to deliver exceptional service, and continuous learning plays a vital role in ensuring we meet and exceed expectations.
